KYC for HDFC Users:

List of documents required along with the passport-sized photograph

As per the new update, we request you to get all the documents attested (signed and sealed) by the banking authority and then upload the same documents for faster verification of your KYC

Please follow the below steps to upload your KYC documents from the Expense mobile app:

1. Download the 'Happay Expense' application from your Playstore or Appstore.
2. Click on the Profile on the bottom right corner and select KYC on the left pane.
Click on FULL KYC
Note: If you have another bank account with HDFC then please select the Quick KYC option, enter your PAN card details and complete your KYC in one go.
3. Click on Digital KYC > enter the details in Personal Details section and upload the Photo
4. Click on DOCUMENT KYC and update all the fields under Personal Details section
5. Upload a clear copy of PAN Card by selecting the document type PAN CARD from the dropdown along with a clear passport-size photograph.
6. Upload a clear copy of POA (Voter ID card / Driving License / Passport / Aadhaar copy). Both front and back sides of the copy are required.
7. If you are uploading an Aadhaar copy, please ensure to mask (hide) the first 8-digit Aadhaar number and self-attest (your signature) on both sides and upload the copy. Please reduce the screen size or zoom in on the length of the screen to view the UPLOAD button.

NOTE

  • Passport size photograph must be clear
  • Aadhaar must be self-attested, and the first eight-digit number should be masked.
  • Driving License and the Passport must have a minimum of 1-month validity. (We have to check the expiry date before verifying.)
  • Copy of both sides of the document (POA- Proof of address and POI- Proof of identity) is mandatory.
  • FX clients DL is mandatory for both POI and POA. However, for PC/Flexi PAN CARD is mandatory for POI and other OVD for POA.

Note:
1. All the documents should be sealed and signed by the HDFC banking officials before uploading the documents to the portal during digital KYC.
2. You will receive a notification mail once your KYC is declined. You may have to follow all mentioned processes again for verification.
